Application Settings
Configure and manage your users workflows, workstation modes & others

- AuthX Vault -AuthX centralized secure credential storage. If disabled, credentials are only stored locally and certain functionalities are disabled/limited
- Workstation Usage Mode – Choose how the workstations is provisioned and used to manage logon workflow
- Single User Mode – Workstation setup and provisioned for a standard user login for a single individual
- Shared User Mode – Workstation used by multiple users
- User Fast Switching – When a new user taps their card on a logged on session, new user session launches and the current user session is terminated
- Workstation Lock Mode – Pre-logged in Workstation with a specified service user and utilized by multiple users to access
- Single Application Mode – Pre-logged in Workstation with a specified service user and a pre-configured application always running allowing for user context change
- Delegated User Mode – Logon to the Workstation as assigned delegated user
- Advanced Diagnostics – If enabled user can send detailed logs to AuthX support to review, diagnose and troubleshoot issues
- Auto Update – Enable for AuthX windows agent to retrieve and install updates automatically (User will require administrative rights to install on the machine)
- Login Screen Options – Type of authx screen for workstation logon
- Window Mode – Modern View for the AuthX login
- Fullscreen Mode – Fullscreen View for the AuthX login

- Lock Screen Background – Upload the Background image to be displayed on the windows lock screen. Make sure the image meets the recommended criteria
- Log on Screen Background – Background image to be displayed on the AuthX Log on screen in Fullscreen UI. Make sure the image meets the recommended criteria
- Log on Screen Background Color – Background colour to be displayed on AuthX Log on screen in Fullscreen UI
- Font Color – Set font color to be displayed on the AuthX log on screen
Additional Features
Configure and manage additional features like RDP and “run as administrator”

- Launch RDP session with SSO – When enabled Remote Desktop session is launched with a credential passthrough for single sign on
- Re-Authenticate before RDP login – When enabled, User has to Re-Authenticate using AuthX before logging onto the server
- Windows Admin “Run as” Prompt – AuthX logon prompt for administrator to authenticate the action for administrator permissions
Advanced Configuration
User Login Preference
Manage the preferences that would be available for an user during login

- Display Username on Login Screen- Display the username which is signed on on the Login Screen of the workstation
- Display Forgot Password Option for Users – Enable users to use the forgot password option from the login screen
- User Authentication to access AuthX Agent- Users will need to authenticate before accessing AuthX agent on workstation for enrollment and manage their auth factors (Recommended)
- Display Text for Login Screen – Text that will be displayed to the users on the login screen. Ex: Disclaimers, Support desk info etc.
- Help Text for Login Screen – Help Text that will be displayed to the users on the login screen, with the AuthX Windows Agent Version number, machine name and help desk information
RFID Authentication Preferences
Manage additional actions/options for RFID (Requires RFID authentication to be enabled)

- Lock / Logoff on Tap – The active session will end by Locking/Logging off when RFID card is tapped
- Allow RFID Enrollment from Login Screen – Allow card enrollment for unenrolled users from AuthX login screen
Password Policy Preferences
Configure and manage the password policies for user authentication

- Password Authentication is required
- After certain interval – Based on the selected value from the drop down from the below field, cached password will get expired and users will be prompted to enter their password
- Multifactor Authentication – After authenticating with any of the authentication factor, user will have to enter the password
- At certain time every day – Based on the selected time, everyday the cached password will get expired and users will be prompted to enter their password
- Only when password is invalid / expired – Unless the password expires or becomes invalid in the AD, users will not be prompted to enter their password after the first time
- Password authentication is required on restart – Password authentication is required on restart
- IP Address white list- Admin can define IP Address range from where the users can authenticate with enabled authentication factor without requiring to enter their password
Workstation Inactivity Preferences
Manage idle session and its respective actions

- Maximum Inactivity Period – Maximum period of workstation inactivity in minutes which will trigger inactivity timeout behavior
- This value should be less than the group policy value. AuthX will not override the group policy value
- Inactivity Timeout Behavior – Workstation will be locked or logged off after the set time
- Mobile Notification for Inactivity – Mobile notification is sent for the registered device user
- AuthX app is required
Application Launch Preferences
Organize and manage the default applications to be launched and/or sign-in upon user login

- Launch Applications on start of user log-in session – Enables listed applications to be launched on user sign-on to workstation
- AuthX supports Windows and Citrix Application launch
- Windows
- Application Path with Executable – Specify the applications to be launched on session start, need fully valid path and file name to execute. Ex: C:/Windows/Notepad.exe
- For launching RDP, we can save the RDP file (under connection settings → Save As) in a shared path and copy the path and add it here

- Citrix
- Specify the applications to be launched on session start, need to mention the application name present in the citrix workspace. Ex: Notepad
- Prerequisite – Citrix SSO to be enabled when receiver or workspace is setup

Application Termination Preferences
Organize and manage the applications to be terminated

- Trigger application termination preferences on lock/logoff – Choose when the listed application/background processes are terminated
APPLICATION TO EXECUTE ON LOCK/LOG OFF
- Application to Execute on session end – Specify the applications to be launched on session end, need fully valid path and file name to execute
- Terminate Windows Apps on lock/log off – If enabled all the applications categorized as “apps” in windows task manager will be terminated on lock/log off
- Terminate Windows Background processes on lock/log off – If enabled all the applications or processes categorized as “background” in windows task manager will be terminated on lock/log off
Machine Configuration
Manage and configure machine level settings for users

- Hot key to End User Session – Workstation will be locked/logged off when the configured hot key(s) is pressed by the user.
(Hot key is designated shortcut key in a keyboard) - Hot key to Launch Windows Applications – When the configured hot key(s) is pressed, list of windows applications opens up in a new window
- Hot key to Launch Web Applications – When the configured hot key(s) is pressed, AuthX User portal is launched on the browser and it shows the list of web applications
