Self Service Portal – Domain Users

Self service portal is a credential management which allows the Domain users to manage & configure their credentials without any assistance of admin or support team.

AuthX Portal Configuration

  1. Go to AuthX Admin portal

  2. Navigate to Applications

  3. Create LDAP Application

  4. Provide Application Name

  5. Enable “Allow Self Service Portal”

  6. Download the LDAP Authentication setup file

  7. Save the Application

  8. Respective LDAP application status would be “Waiting for Agent”

LDAP Configuration

  1. Open Remote Desktop Connection and login with the respective server

  2. Copy Paste the downloaded LDAP file on the RDP Desktop

  3. Install the LDAP agent

  4. Go to Windows Search and type “AuthX AD Agent Config”

  5. Copy paste the Application details – ID, Key & URL from the Portal

  6. Save the Configuration

How to sync LDAP users in AuthX Portal

  1. Login to AuthX Admin portal

  2. Navigate to Applications and make sure LDAP application status is Active

  3. To activate the LDAP / On Prem users, go to Settings-> Admin and enable “Activate AD users while adding“

  4. Go to Directory Sync and navigate to Open LDAP section

  5. Select Actions and click Sync

  6. Now select the groups and Sync Directory Now

  7. The selected groups & users will be reflected in Users & Groups module with source type “On Prem” users

  8. Now redirect to Users & edit any On Prem user

  9. Activate the Phone by selecting any options from here

  10. Phone is activated now

Self Service Portal Launch

Pre-conditions:

You can refer the hostname in Admin portal

  1. Redirect to Self Service portal, https://admin-hostname.authx.com/selfserviceportal/

  2. The respective user can manage their Status Update, Unlock Account, Change Password, Reset password & Password Expiry

  3. Select Change Password tile

    1. Provide your On Prem active user email address and click on Next

    2. Confirm any of the auth factors

    3. Set the new password & change it

  4. Select Reset Password Tile

    1. Provide your On Prem active user email address and click on Next

    2. Confirm any of the auth factors

    3. Set the new password & change it

  5. Select Unlock Account tile

    1. Provide your On Prem active user email address and click on Next

    2. Confirm any of the auth factors

    3. Unlock your account & update it
