Administrators & User’s can protect an web & custom web application in order to enhance security on those applications by using AuthX’s authentication factors.
Web applications & Custom web applications are mainly used for AuthX Chrome extension. From the AuthX user portal, user can launch the web & custom applications from the AuthX Plugin.
Web & Custom Application Grid

Web application grid has the following columns

Name: Given application name reflects here

App URL: Given application login url reflects here
-
Status: The status will be active
-
Created Date: Created application date will be displayed here
-
Groups: Assigned groups while creating will be displayed here

Action: Edit & Delete

Edit – Update the application details

Delete – Delete the application
-

Add Web Application
-
Click Add Web application and you can Protect a Web application from the list

You can directly protect an application or Search for an application

Click Protect on any web application
-
On the Add web application details page, input the following details

Details – Respective application details will be pre-populated in the below fields.

App’s login page URL

Multiple Redirect checkbox – If the login URL has multiple redirection, you can enable this checkbox & input your Login redirection in the below Redirect URL field

If the above mentioned checkbox is enabled, you can add your login redirection url here.

If the above checkbox is disabled, this field will be hidden

Time Interval

Choose the time interval option from 1 – 5 sec

Application Username Type

This is the type of username that would be used to login that can be mapped – LDAP, Email, Username, Phone, Custom, Set by admin

Auto Login checkbox

It will auto launch the application with the login details saved

Enable Two Factor Authentication checkbox

Enabled – Authentication factors will be listed – Push, Face Push, Palm Push, Face, Fingerprint, RFID, Phone (SMS, Call, Email)

Disabled – Only Password option & no authentication factors
